Many of our customers say they suffer flat feet and given we are part yogi we actually listened.
That’s resulted in our flip flops being specifically designed to cup feet gently, they bend and shift with foot pressure because they are made from natural rubber.
Given our natural rubber comes from Thailand (and we support the local rubber farmers who often find themselves with an oversupply of rubber) it’s rather close to our other friends at Free the Bears in Cambodia. Free the Bears is run by Mary Hutton (who in her 70 years decided to save bears from captivity) helped by Matt Hunt watch them with Dr Chris Brown on 7 pm Project).
So, we thought about it long and hard, and have sent over a collection to Free the Bears for their rescued bears (who most definitely have flat feet).
We can just imagine how happy they will be with splashes of colour on their little paws.
You don’t have to be a bear to wear our thongs. Click here.
But practicing a zero-waste lifestyle is near impossible with the amount of packaging that comes with products. And as the new year ticks over I wonder. . .
What changes?
What behaviors?
What habits?
Can we adopt to lessen our own climate change footprint?
Changes that won’t cost you money and won’t require a lot of time and dedication to do.
